A few weeks ago the The Modern Quilt Guild announced its inaugural QuiltCon, a conference celebrating modern quilting, held in Austin, Texas in February 2013. The conference will include lectures, workshops, two quilt shows, with Denyse Schmidt as the keynote speaker. Anna Maria Horner, Elizabeth Hartman, Malka Dubrawski, Weeks Ringle and Bill Kerr are just a few of the featured instructors/lecturers.
