We had a small turn out for last Saturday’s Guild sew-in but it was fun and productive. Several people took advantage of the large floor space available to lay out quilts. Ara Jane brought in her latest quilt for the do. Good Stitches quilting charity bee to sew on the binding. We had some great collaboration going on to plan out a pieced back for a baby quilt. And, we welcomed a new member who moved here recently all the way from Australia!
Our next sew-in will be June 16 from 12:00-4:30pm.
A very special thanks to Amber for taking pictures and writing the blog post for the 6/2 sew-in!
A FEW REMINDERS:

- We are planning a meet-up with the Vancouver, BC and Portland MQGs on the weekend of August 11-12. Shop-hops and a sew-in will be scheduled. Mark your calendars – details to come!
- Please keep thinking of ideas for alternative meeting spaces for our sew-ins. We are so grateful to Sue for continuing to schedule at the Woodland Park Presbyterian Church; however, it’ll soon be time to move on.
