Threaded Together Exhibit at Island Quilter

The other week I had the pleasure of visiting the Threaded Together exhibit at Island Quilter on Vashon Island. The quilts are amazing and I wish I had brought my camera instead of just having my phone. There’s a great mix of modern and traditional but all have a lot personality – but, maybe I get that because I am fortunate to know some of the quilters (full disclosure: one of mine is hanging there, too).

The collection is from various quilters in the Seattle area (although some, but not all, are associated with the SMQG). Here’s a sampling of what’s there:

The exhibit runs through July 4, 2012; so, you’ll have to hurry to see it but it’s worth the trip!

Don’t forget that the Seattle Modern Quilt Guild Exhibit at Island Quilter runs from July 6 – August 2, 2012 – also not to be missed!

  1. I am interested in helping in any way with the SMQG exhibit at Island Quilter which starts July 6th. I don’t know who to contact to offer my help so I will start here. Thank you for this update.
