The fact we are still working on the schedule for meetings and sew-ins for the second half of the year doesn’t mean that we can’t still do things together – so to speak. So let’s have a star quilt along!

Feel free to choose any star pattern, any colors, any size – anything you want – as long as there are stars involved. There has been a discussion already started at our shutterfly site. Katie has also started a star quilts pinboard over at pinterest for some extra inspiration.

Here are the particulars, i.e. timeline:
August: pick pattern, fabric and cut
September: piece
November: backing and quilt
December: bind

Of course this is a suggested timeline; however, we’re looking for a deadline in December. We should certainly have a meeting scheduled by then so we can share our finished quilts! Feel free to post pictures on our flickr site in the meantime.
