This Friday, October 5, is the opening of Krista Withers’ upcoming exhibit, Evolution, A Modern Long Arm Quilting Show, at Island Quilter (6-9 p.m.). Evolution is a fitting title for Krista’s work. It has a way of changing a quilt into something more than stitching and completing quilt to expanding beyond the quilt into its own new element. The show runs from 5 Oct – 1 Nov.
