Bring your Christmas sewing projects and machine for an all day sew-in at Island Quilter on Vashon Island. (Irons and boards provided.) Lunch also may be provided for a possible $5 fee (updates to come). Island Quilter will also be opening up their “Vault” of out of print fabrics, besides their maze of amazing fabrics – surely an event not to be missed!

The holidays are approaching quickly – as they are wont to do! So, of course, we must be able to work in a little bit of sewing and extra holiday cheer… While it may not be a party, per se, it will a lot of fun to gather with creative, inspirational, and quilt-loving friends! Island Quilter has a vault of out of print fabrics?! How exciting! I can’t believe I was there in the summer and didn’t find a way to enter the vault!
We’re excited! It’s their collection that they use to travel to quilt shows. I can’t wait to see what surprises it has!
