Since the March meeting is coming up (Monday, 11 March from 7-9 @ Greenwood Senior Center), it’s probably a good idea to post the minutes and some pictures from Show and Tell. Thanks for your patience with my postings. It’s been a busy February…
Did you get to go to QuiltCon? I hope so – it was a wonderful experience. (It was great to see so many familiar faces!) If not, there’s a flickr pool of photos that people uploaded. Craftsy is also hosting some of the lectures from QuiltCon that you can watch for FREE!! What an inspiring event. If you couldn’t make it, I recommend making the trek – wherever that may be – in 2015!
Well, back to business. The minutes from the February meeting are available here.
There were a lot of amazing quilts shown off at our last meeting. Here’s a sample, with pictures taken by Martha. (Thank you, Martha!!)

Don’t forget: Our name tag challenge deadline is 11 March at our next meeting. Show us who you are!! Also, if you’ve participated in the Madrona Road Challenge, please bring your project (finished or not) to the meeting. Finally, don’t forget to think about a Star Quilt – the due date will be sometime at the end of May 2013.
NOTE: If you weren’t at the February meeting to receive your “Seattle MQG” logo, no worries! They’ll be available at the next meeting (including them in your nametag is optional).
We hope to see you at the next meeting!
so sorry I couldn’t have been there! the quilts look fantastic! good job, everyone! I expect to be able to make the meeting on the 11th!
1 – I love, love, LOVE that bubble tree quilt. I may have to get working on something like that for myself!
2 – I just found out that there is a Seattle MQG chapter. Could I come check it out at your next meeting on Monday?
Yes, Allison, you are more than welcome! Everyone can come to up to two meetings to check us out before we require to pay dues ($25/year, which you can pay at Monday’s meeting if you’re interested). I hope you find our group a good fit for you and your sewing.
I’m unable to come to the meeting tonight. Is it still possible to get a “Seattle MQG” logo?
Hi Laurel. Please contact Sandie at sandie at sleepyowlstudio dot com to find out how to get a SMQG logo. Thanks!
