Happy Saturday SMQG! Exciting Events Happening Today

Hello SMQG and Happy Saturday!  There are some exciting things happening this Saturday that I thought you should know about before the opportunity passes.  I apologize that the Sew & Tell post is not up yet – it is in the works!

There is a sew-in TODAY at Quiltworks Northwest in Bellevue.

They are located at 121A ~ 107th Avenue NE, Bellevue, WA. Click this link to be connected to their location page for directions to help you successfully arrive at the sew-in today!  Our Ladies will be there from 10:00AM until 5:30 PM tonight. Please bring whatever you wish to work on. This location has a large spaceous room to sew in that has room for LOTS of machines, ironing boards, and cutting mats galore. They also have design walls for your use while you sew.

If you would like to go to the sew-in today feel free to drop by any time for as long as you would like. You can also receive a discount while shopping during the sew-in! Please check in on Big Tent to RSVP to help the guild track information on sew-ins.

Another exciting event happening today is Season Evan’s Quilt Show Opening at DryGoods in Ballard.

Season shared one of her recently finished quilts with us at our October meeting. You can also see many of her beautiful works of art at her webpage where her quilts are now for sale. Congratulations Season!

So once you are done sewing up a storm at the Sew-In in Bellevue you can head over to the charming Drygoods Design in Ballard to help support one of our own member.

Good Luck tonight and Happy Quilting!

  1. Thanks for the event update! I went to the sew-in, it was fun, good energy, laughter, new connections and even some seams were sewn! I am planning to be at the opening of Season’s
quilt show this evening. I look forward to seeing other SMQG members there.
