Happy February! Did you get snow at your house and stay inside having a sew day? Or did you get out and play? We have some members who went to SewDown (aka SnowDown) in Portland, and we’re looking forward to a report. It looked like a great time, despite the weather.
This week is our meeting:
When: Wednesday, February 12, 7-9:00 PM. Social time starts at about 6:30
Where: Greenwood Senior Center, 525 N 85th St Seattle, WA 98103
There’s fun in addition to business on the agenda (get it here). We’re unveiling Riley Blake challenge quilts. Grace is doing a demo. Binary quilts are coming home from the Island Quilter exhibit. And there’s news about more exhibition opportunities for your quilts, too. And the next installment in the Block of the Month will be presented.
We’re in need of volunteers on several committees. Think how you can contribute your talents to the guild. The NW Folklife Festival Exhibit or PNW MQG Meetup might be your thing! Not to worry, there are other opportunities. Or, if there’s something you want to do, it probably needs to be done and we welcome your help.
Get ready for Wednesday and pack your bag. Here’s what to bring
- Credit card if you’d like to join or renew at the meeting
- Riley Blake challenge
- Snacks and yummies (if you’re a February baby)
See you then!
