One Hour Basket swaps spotted on Instagram. From left to right: Jaci (@j_bartol), Amber (@greenamberdawn), Jonna (new member! @bespokeoutlaw). How is yours coming along?

After the meeting, June was kinda quiet in the Seattle MQG world but we’re going to be a lot busier in July. And then August, well, let’s just say it will be EPIC. Any way, on to what we’ve got going on in July.

July 4 – Happy Independence Day, America! Last day for PNW MQG EPICMeetup2015 early registration and hotel group rate

July 5 – PNW MQG EPICMeetup2015 registration continues

July 8 – Guild meeting, 7:00 pm, at Greenwood Senior Center with a One-Hour basket swap

July 11 – Sew-in at Quiltworks Northwest

July 23 – Happy hour sew-in at Quiltworks Northwest

July 25 – Free Motion Quilting Workshop with Christina Cameli. Sorry, workshop is full

July 26 – Sew-in at Quality Sewing and Vac in Tukwila. This is our first sew-in at this venue and it has oodles of room for everyone. Maybe a good time to practice those new FMQ skills

July 31 – MQG Fabric Challenge due

And, the reason August will be EPIC – the PNW MQG EPICMeetup2015 is August 20-23

If you’ve been thinking of joining the Seattle MQG, we have a deal for new members. Since we are halfway through the membership year, new member dues are reduced by half and are now $25. Can’t resist this offer? Fill out the membership form on the Membership page.

And, one last thing, did you notice our new Logo Gear store on Café Press over on the right side bar?(yes, over there —>) Allison, our VP Programs, has persevered for months and gotten our store up and running. Thank you! Go check it out.
