Spring 2016 Retreat

It’s about time we have you sign up for our next retreat, huh? Are you ready? Our fabulous retreat committee has been hard at work getting all of the details sorted out and they are ready to share all the info with you here.

When: Friday, April 29, through Sunday, May 1 (earliest arrival at 9am on Friday, departure by 3pm on Sunday)

Location: Camp Burton on Vashon Island

Triple occupancy: $206
Double occupancy: $227

House Rules:
To ensure everyone’s enjoyment of the retreat, there are a couple of guidelines we’re asking everyone to follow this year.

  • Keep the aisles and walkways clear. Please keep you and your supplies out of the common areas. If you have a lot of stuff, it is your responsibility to arrive early and set up in out of the way location (in a corner, for example).
  • Store extra fabric, supplies, etc in your room or vehicle. We all like to have extra projects and fabric on hand. Since space is limited at Camp Burton, please keep your belongings that you are not using in your room or in your vehicle.
  • If you volunteer to bring supplies to share, please leave them at Camp Burton for the full duration of the retreat. If you need to leave retreat early, we ask that you make arrangements to have another attendee (NOT board members or retreat organizers) deliver your shared supplies to you after the retreat.

Retreat slots are all on a first come first served basis and are not confirmed until you have paid. There will be a payment link once you click submit on the sign up form. Retreat fees are non-refundable unless we are able to resell your spot or the event is cancelled. The retreat is open only to Seattle MQG members.

Are you ready? Fill out the registration form here!

  1. Can you clarify how many people we are allowing to attend this year? Also, can you confirm if this is more, the same, or less than the last time we were at Camp Burton please? Thank you!

  2. Hi Allison, I did not mean the prices, sorry I wasn’t more clear. I’m asking how many we had attending the last retreat. Is it more or less than the 30 we are setting for this year. Thank you!

  3. Hi. I’m new to Seattle, just joined the guild and I’m looking forward to attending this retreat!
