Brunch Webinar time!

One of the great benefits of membership in the Modern Quilt Guild, and the Seattle MQG in particular, is the opportunities we try to bring you to learn from a variety of fantastic modern quilting teachers. We’ve been fortunate to have some spectacular teachers come teach workshops in Seattle and we love having them! But sometimes, the distance is a little too far to travel. As such, the time has come for Seattle MQG’s very first webinar.

Karen Lewis

We are thrilled to welcome Karen Lewis as our first webinar guest! Karen has been screen printing her own designs on fabric for years now and has recently come out with a full line with Robert Kaufman called Blueberry Park. She is the author of Screen Printing at Home if you’d like to try printing along with her or you can even join her at an upcoming retreat in England.

Which brings us to the reason for the webinar over an in-person visit: England. Lovely to visit but a bit far to commute for a weekend of teaching. Karen will be speaking to us via webinar on Sunday, June 26th at 10am Pacific. Grab some brunch and join us as Karen talks about her journey to get where she is now and all of the hard work she has put in behind the scenes. Plus, lots of eye candy.

This webinar is open to current Seattle MQG members only and will be from the comfort of your own home (or en-route to our sew in that day!). Members are being sent an email this afternoon with instructions on how to join the webinar. Please email seattlemodernquiltguild@gmail.com if you do not receive that (check your spam folder too). We are planning to record the session for later viewing as well. *Please note this is different and separate from the national MQG webinars.

So that’s it, get to signing up already! And if you’re posting any pictures while you watch, make sure to use #SEAbrunchwithKaren.
