It’s our Annual Meeting next Wednesday, November 9th, 2016. We set the ballot for the 2017 Board at October’s meeting, you get to vote this month. So please join us at Greenwood Senior Center at 7:00 pm, preceeded by social/set-up time at 6:30 pm.
While the ballots are being counted, we’ve got a few activities up our sleeves. Please bring the following:
- Improv-pieced stripe blocks for the Giving Committee
- Cash or check for 2017 guild registration/renewals ($50.00) Checks can be made out to Seattle Modern Quilt Guild. We will have several computers set-up while the ballots are being tallied.
- Paper and colored pencils for an improv activity
- November birthdays, please bring treats
- Seattle MQG nametag
- Modern quilts for show-and-tell
We will discuss:
- Board elections
- Christmas Party details and sign-ups (including info on Christmas Exchange)
- Potential Spring Retreat dates
- 2016 BOM – Piecing
- Member Survey (to be distributed via e-mail)
- Improv activity
November/December Activities:
- November 17th, 2:00 – 8:30 pm, Happy Hour Sew-in, QWNW (Bellevue)
*There will be no Saturday Sew-in this month due to the Thanksgiving holiday - November 30th, 2016 – Last day to submit quilts for QuiltCon 2017 (Savannah, GA)
- December 17th, 11:30 am – 7:30 pm, Christmas Party/Sew-in (members/adults only)

Where can I find the minutes from our November meeting? I want to follow up on some of the discussion items and the minutes would help. I looked here on the website but I do not see any after our August meeting. Have we moved where we find them? Thanks so much!
