Triple occupancy: $207 (9 spots)
Double occupancy: $224 (12 spots)
Single occupancy: $259 (3 spots)

This upcharge applies to vegetarian, vegan, dairy free, gluten free, and those with multiple allergies that require a special meal to be made. The fee for a special diet request is $8. If you indicate on the form that you need a special diet, Kim Curtiss will contact you about payment.

Volunteering:

We will send out a spreadsheet to sign up to bring community items (irons, ironing boards, cutting mats, design walls, snacks, etc) but if you’re interested in volunteering for the following positions, please let Emily know by sending an email to emilysteed @ gmail . com.
Activities:  Would you like to lead a group activity? Perhaps you have a technique you’d like to share with us. Maybe you have an idea for a creative group project.  Please let us know your ideas!
Snacks/Drinks:  We’ll have a sign-up for individual contributions, but we need someone to set up the snack table and make sure it stays neat and tidy during the retreat.
Happy Hour/Games:  This volunteer’s job will be to organize a Saturday night party with food and games and whatever other fun you dream up.
Gifts/Swag:  Finally, it wouldn’t be a retreat without gifts of fabric, tools, patterns, etc. Please consider this role if you know how to procure the stuff quilters love.

House Rules:

To ensure everyone’s enjoyment of the retreat, there are a couple of guidelines we’re asking everyone to follow this year.

  • Keep the aisles and walkways clear. Please keep you and your supplies out of the common areas. If you have a lot of stuff, it is your responsibility to arrive early and set up in out of the way location (in a corner, for example).
  • Store extra fabric, supplies, etc in your room or vehicle. We all like to have extra projects and fabric on hand. Since space is limited at Camp Burton, please keep your belongings that you are not using in your room or in your vehicle.
  • If you volunteer to bring supplies to share, please leave them at Camp Burton for the full duration of the retreat. If you need to leave retreat early, we ask that you make arrangements to have another attendee (NOT board members or retreat organizers) deliver your shared supplies to you after the retreat.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Retreat slots are all on a first come first served basis and are not confirmed until you have paid. There will be a payment link once you click submit on the sign up form. Retreat fees are non-refundable unless we are able to resell your spot or the event is cancelled. The retreat is open only to Seattle MQG members at this time.

    • Hey Annette!
We most likely won’t be opening any more spots; it can get uncomfortably packed pretty quickly! Send an email to seattlemodernquiltguild @ gmail . com about getting on the waiting list, and we’ll let you know if anything opens up!
