Have you submitted a quilt (or quilts) to the Bainbridge Quilt Festival? There is still time! If not being sure about how to get your quilt to and from Bainbridge has been your reason for not entering…Kae has volunteered to gather our quilts at the August guild meeting and bring them back to us at the September guild meeting! Oh, and did we mention that quilts do not need to have a hanging sleeve? Now, what are you waiting for!?
The Fifth annual Bainbridge Quilt Festival is September 9, 2017, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm along Winslow Way in Downtown Bainbridge Island and is put on by our friends the Bainbridge Island MQG . The Quilt Festival is during our fall retreat but for those of you not attending retreat, here is a fun quilty alternative.
The Bainbridge Quilt Festival is a non-juried, non-judged show and it is a great way to have your work shown and appreciated. All of the information you need to know, including the entry form, can be found HERE. If enough Seattle MQG quilts are submitted, the Bainbridge Quilt Festival folks have said they will try to group them all together, how cool would that be!?
