Folklife
- Lotte collected quilts for Folklife which will be held over Memorial Day weekend at Seattle Center
- Quilts will be returned at the June meeting
- Volunteers are needed for set up and take down of the quilts

Giving Committee
- Instructions for the next giving quilt are posted on the blog
- The quilt is based on Anna Maria Horner’s Feathers
- Green background fabric was handed out at the meeting – more is available from Erica if needed
Name Tag Swap
- Took place at the April meeting
Gwen Marston Tribute
- Guild members shared their Gwen-inspired quilts and quilts they started in a Gwen workshop
- They also told stories of their experiences with her
- Some Gwen Marston “wisdom” was shared
- Strive for originality in your work
- Don’t worry about what the quilt police have to say
- Curiosity about quilts and quilt making is a good thing (what if I try that…)
- Try working in a series, and try working small to try out an idea
- and….Double fold binding is bulbous
