Hello All,

It is that time of the year when we collectively start preparing for the Quiltcon Charity Quilt Challenge. The guidelines for Quiltcon 2020 challenge were recently published by the MQG. The full details can be found here: https://www.quiltcon.com/charity-quilt-challenge-2020. Every year Seattle MQG submits a quilt for this challenge which is later donated for a good cause. This year is no different.

In preparation for this we are asking for design submissions from guild members that meet the guidelines outlined above. This year the parameters are relatively narrow – text quilts in monochromatic gray tone solids. This quilt will eventually need to find a good home eventually something to keep in mind when coming up with a design suggestion.

We will pick one design which will then be turned into a quilt. Mail your suggestions to Erica (ricaroo at gmail.com) or Rachel (liketosewblog at gmail.com). Deadline for submitting suggestions is June 30, 2019.
