Block of the Month – Stefanie

  • Stephanie (@satterwhitequilts) is running this year’s BOM, called “Begonia”
  • It is a mystery quilt based on half square triangle blocks
  • See the blog for information on the January – July blocks for this quilt

Directory

  • The membership directory is now available on the MQG site, in the SEAMQG members-only Seattle circle page

Giving Committee

  • Instructions for the next giving quilt are posted on the blog
  • Blocks will be due in September
  • Some fabric was handed out at the July meeting.  Please contact our giving committee chairs if you need more.

Fall 2019 Retreat

  • Will be held September 6-8, 2019 at Camp Huston in Gold Bar (Note, original calendar entry had incorrect date.)
  • Registration will go live Saturday July 27 at 10am
  • Price will be $220 double and $285 single

MQG Website

  • Join the Seattle MQG Circle!  This is where meeting minutes are posted
  • Check out the monthly content from the MQG – Block Study, Quilt of the Month, Webinars
  • Find episodes of Fresh Quilting

Wooly Fiber Quilters 10th Annual Quilt Show:  “United We Stand”

Guild Librarian
The Guild is in need of a new librarian!  Are you able to help?

  • Bring and Set up books for check out/return at guild meetings (perfect attendance not required)
  • Library contained to one rolling tote
  • You get to curate the selection
  • Guild Members are great about returning books

Bainbridge Island Quilt Festival

  • Held September 14, 2019

Sew and Tell

  • Guild members shared their Begonia quilts to date and finished projects.  Watch Facebook and Instagram for photos.

  1. Happy to be the guild librarian! I’m right next to it at the sign-in table and I’m unpacked enough to fit it in my new space.
