We’re having another Day Retreat at Quilting Mayhem!

Friday, Nov. 8th, Saturday, Nov. 9th, and Sunday, Nov. 10th, 2019

• 9:00 am – 8:00 pm each day
• Quilting Mayhem, Snohomish, WA
• $35 for all three days; $15/day for single days

How do Day Retreats Work?

They’re a great chance to join other Seattle Modern Quilt Guild members and sew together over the weekend. Bring your machine and projects, set yourself up, and enjoy three days of sewing and camaraderie! Or if your calendar is full of conflicts, choose one or two days and join us when you can.

You’re on your own for food, but there’s a refrigerator and microwave available for your use. Or there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance of Quilting Mayhem.

Each night you’ll go home and sleep in your own bed. But you can leave your stuff there. It’ll be ready to go when you return the next day.

We’ve arranged for extra hours each evening. This means you have 33 hours of sewing available (!), or you can take breaks, run a quick errand, and come back as you please. Our hope is that this flexible schedule will be a good arrangement for members who have other things they need to check in on over the weekend.

Quilting Mayhem is a great place for a day retreat. We’ve reserved their event space, so there’s plenty of room. If you forget something, their large shop is just downstairs. And lucky you … each attendee will receive a discount coupon to use over the weekend.

Note that Monday, November 11th (the day after the retreat is over) is Veteran’s Day. If you’re lucky, that means you have a day off afterward to get ready for the rest of your “real” life!

This is a great, low-pressure way to meet people in the Guild. And if you’re planning any quilty gifts for the holidays, November is a perfect time to be working on them.

Important Notes

• You’ll be able to sign up for all three days or any combination of days. If the day(s) you want are already full, be sure to add yourself to our Waitlist.
• Your PayPal receipt is your proof of having registered. So look for it right after you’ve completed your registration. If you don’t have a receipt, you may not have completed the registration process.

Refunds

• The Simple Rule:  Sorry, once you’ve signed up and paid, we won’t be offering any refunds.
• The Possible Exception:  IF you cancel on or before October 25th AND we can find a replacement from our waitlist, we’ll consider refunding your payment less $10 (3-day registration) or $5 (single day registration). Please understand that there are no promises on this.
• After October 25th:  See The Simple Rule.
