Seattle Modern Quilt Guild Meeting March 10, 2021 – Part 2
There are two videos. Part 1 has the introductory part of the meeting and the talk by our guest speaker, Cheryl Arkison. She generously allowed us to record her talk and it will be available for 2 weeks (through March 24, 2021).
Cheryl’s talk was entitled “Make Time for Play.” She introduced the theme with her personal definition: “Play is about venturing into the unknown with a sense of adventure and a little bit of direction.” Throughout the trunk show Cheryl provided additional inspirational quotes on the theme of play and how important it is for personal and creative growth, as well as showing us the wonderful quilts that were created as she played and experimented.
The second video has an update on program and workshop plans for 2021, an introduction to Month 3 of our 2021 block of the month, The Salsa Medallion, and some beautiful quilt eye candy in Sew and Tell.
