There has been talk of a guild quilt for quilt some time now and guess what? It’s time to do it! Four colors have been chosen and packets have been assembled. Allison D. has already been handing out packets at the April meeting and sew ins. We would love to have as many of you as possible contribute a block (limit 1 block per person) so please grab one if you have not yet done so and return your 5.5″ masterpiece anytime between now and the June meeting. We can’t wait to see what you come up with!

I really had fun with this block. I am excited to see our finished Guild Quilt!
On another note, I was able to attend the opening of Circa 15 in Kirkland last Saturday and and it was such fun to see so many faces that I know, some not even in our guild! I was also lucky enough to get one of the gift bags. I would like to make a quilt to donate to the Greenwood Senior Center with the dark Asian floral fabric that was in my bag but I think that I am going to need 2-3 more pieces of this. If you got some in your bag and you don’t know what to do with it I would welcome the donation. I will be at the May SeaMQG meeting. Thanks, Kae
