With just 3 weeks left in the challenge, we thought this might be a good time to check in. How are your pillows coming along? There are some fantastic quilted pillows so far in the instagram feed and even more that I’ve seen in person but not online. Be sure to tag your pictures with #meandyouandseamqg so we can all see. If you haven’t started yet, not to worry. You still have plenty of time to make something and the new collections have been arriving in stores if you’re looking for another design or color to add in the mix.
You should plan to turn in your (empty) pillow cover at our July meeting on 7/13. Anna Beth from Pacific Fabrics will be on hand to collect them for display at their Northgate store starting 7/15. Please, please make sure to get your creation to another member ahead of time if you will not be able to make the meeting. We want Pac Fab to be covered with as much #SeaMQG awesomeness and spirit as possible!!
They should be marked with your name and email address or phone number so we can make sure to get them back to you at the September meeting. The nice thing about pillow covers is they have an inside so feel free to hide your info in there if you’d prefer. A piece of masking tape + sharpie will work just fine if you don’t want a more permanent tag.
